Aurora Veil
An Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales Collection
Figures
Last Updated: June 24, 2019
Petit Fleur Figure
Released: September 24, 2018
I love the concept of these figures and I'm so glad there has been another set made. The flowers and poses just add so much life to these!
This is a bit off tangent but I hope Ribombee makes an appearance in this series sometime.
Nuku Nuku Time Figure
Released: January 2019
Two of my favorite things in one figure - yarn and Alolapix! This figure is easily one of my favorites but I have so many favorites it's hard to pick even just a few!
Anyway, I ended up with two of these, I boguht one for myself and received on i nthe Valentine's Exchange 2019 on Discord. Thank you Sadaf! <3
Oteire Please! Figure
Released: January 1, 2018
Another extremely lucky pull! Toward the end of my trip in Japan, when I was visiting my best friend in Sendai, I came across this set. I had not seen it at all anywhere else in Japan, and decided to give it a go.
First try, got my Vulpix. Unbelievable!
Bikkura Tamago Figure
Released: February 2018
I have a particular obsession with the Bikkura Tamago figures - always oddly rubbery and smell nice (they are hidden inside bath bombs), and have little loops so you can hang them on things or use them as keychains.
And she is sleepy? Just make a giant sleepy plush of Alolapix and take my money already!
Sleepy Friends Figure
Released: May 2018
Sleepy, well made, absolutely adorable? Ticks every single box!!
I got an entire set to get this one, actually...but I put in for the set before going to Japan. I walked by so MANY machines with these figures in and told myself absolutely NOT because I had this coming already.
Worth your while to wait, folks!
TOMY Figures
Released: May 27, 2017 & June 16, 2018
Both obtained in Japan, and both staying MIP until I can get extras to open.
The Alolapix with a bowtie is something to do with the anime, I believe it's a symbol for the Ultra Guardians? But that's all I know, I haven't watched the anime in years, admittedly. So, SO cute, either way.
WCT Clip'N'Go Figure
Released: 2018
I actually found this in a store in my city! Can you imagine, Pokemon merchandise in the UK?
Instantly bought it of course.
Suya Suya Cable Figure
Released: June 2018
For some reason, I was worried I would not get one of these, so I preordered them with...two people? And then bought another one in Japan for whatever reason. Why was I so worried I wouldn't be able to get this?
Oh well. I definitely have it now! haha
Get Collections Figure
Released: December 2017
I am very glad this series is still going strong. Sometimes I'm not a big fan of the Pokemon in the sets but you know, I'm glad the series is still here all the same.
We were graced with Alolan Vulpix early on in Sun and Moon, actually! Predictable but very much wanted, I can reassure you. :)
Puttito Figure
Released: 2018
A gift from Zoey and Miranda, thank you so much! I don't remember how many times they tried the gacha but I am grateful that they did.
These figures are meant to sit over a thin ledge, like the edge of a cup.
Ippai Figure
Released: April 2017
Hooray for Alola themed sets! This figure is a part of a set that focused on only Alola regional variants, something that has died off as the era of Sun and Moon went on.
Anyway, this Alolapix has a matching Alolatales! The size difference is very nice, though I don't remember if it's to scale or not Either way they aren't the same size so it makes the figures convincingly accurate.
Big ERaser Figure
Released: February 23, 2018
Right behind Jollibee for the biggest figure, this thing is massive!
I love that she is rolling a snowball, it makes it much more dynamic than the usual sitting poses.
Yura Yura Mansion Figure
Released: November 27, 2018
For it's size, this is a highly detailed figure! It's a piece in a Jenga-sort of giant tower building game, except you have to stack small bits of cardboard meant to look like a house, so naturally the "mansion" will waver a bit, hence the name (yura yura meaning to waver).
MonColle Get FIgures
Released: May 2017
Released alongside her evolution, these teensy figures are a staple of Alolan collections. Leastways for Pokemon that got them.
I do love metallic figures normally, but I just wish this one was less yellow than it is. Otherwise cute!
Hyaku Poke Yako Figure
Released: July 13, 2018
A shared figure with Kantopix! They match their plush counterparts, of course.
When I was purchasing this in the Tokyo DX center, I felt a bit bad because I asked for 3 full boxes (I was doing claims). Then, I turned to my left and saw someone buying about $3000 USD of these and another Pikachu set that came out that day and I instantly did not feel bad anymore.
Jollibee Figure
Released: 2017
A figure from the Phillippines! This is, as of writing, the biggest Alolan Vulpix figure released to date.
I had to stick the stickers on her pawpads and my God, they were absolutely miniscule! I don't know how I did it really, I thought for sure I was going to lose one! ;A;
Transform! Ditto! Figure
Released: April 25, 2018
The Transform Ditto series is a very marmite sort of thing, you know? Personally I absolutely love it, but my husband can't stand looking at anything from it! Luckily I have a few pokemon that have been graced with these plush and figures...hehe
I love how it seems like these two are playing hide and seek. <3
Sukiya WAter Squirter
Released: November 2017
Sukiya is one of my favorite restaurants in Japan. I know it's cheap gyuudon but there's just something about the cheese gyuudon and mugicha that is comforting to me. But I digress...
This squirter was available in the suki suki set (basically a kid's set) at Sukiya for a short time from November 2017. Nifty, huh?
Kids Figure
Released: April 2019
Finally! Alolapix got a kids figure to match with the Alolatales from last year! A very cute figure though, the neck is a bit chunky looking for some reason? Oh well, still super cute. <3
Gallery Figure
Released: March 7, 2019
Yay, a gallery figure! Alolan Vulpix uses Blizzard in this gallery figure, which is wonderfully portrayed by the cloud like structure behind vulpix. No flimsy parts and wonderfully painted to boot, though smaller than I had anticipated Definitely one of my favorite figures of Alolapix to date!
Big thank you to Chilo for this one!! <3
Furuta Choco Egg Figure
Released: February 18, 2019
This figure is actually very small! Very well painted for its size though, and the parts seems to click together solidly...a good figure!
Terrarium Collection EX:
Alola Region Set 2 Figure
Released: June 10, 2019
Wow!!! Not only did Alolapix get one terrarium figure, but now it has been graced with two!
I must admit...I do prefer this version since it has such a snowy vibe, and the flowers remind me of snowdrops, which are some of my favorite flowers!
Get Collections Figure
Released: November 2018
Ninetales got a Get figure! Get a Got figure! Something!
For its size it is rather detailed, tohugh I think it could have been a hair better. Nice to have another figure in a standing pose as well!
Ippai Figure
Released: April 2017
Ippai is one of the other series that I wish would continue, as they did many lovely figures of so many different Pokemon, my ice foxes included. I'm grateful they actually did both of them rather than just Vulpix as well!
Hyaku Poke YAko Figure
Released: July 13, 2018
Another from the Hyaku Poke Yako figure series! Alola Ninetales was graced with her own figure rather than sharing a base...to be honest I don't know how you'd get Kantotales and Alolatales to share one base with all those tails.
Kids Figure
Released: February 2018
You know, kids figures always read a bit chibi to me, but this one doesn't...I think because of the face. This is probably my favorite figure behind the Hyaku Poke Yako figure, the colors are blended so well!
MonCOlle Get Figures
Released: May 2017
Both of them, the normal and secret! The secret is, of course, the metallic one, which I highly appreciate because metallic figures and clear figures are usually my favorites.
I wish they continued this line, these figures are among my favorite in my Alola collections.
